Seeing The Convergence

During time spent reading in the Alt-Right sphere of the internet, I came across a concept known as “convergence.” It is usually used when describing the efforts of SJWs to make everything adhere to certain expectations in terms of race and sex. But I never understood what convergence meant exactly.

The last article I read about convergence was from Vox Day describing this phenomenon in the newest Star Trek movie. Apparently, the makers of the movie intend to present the character Sulu as gay. The great twist of irony is that George Takei, who played the same character in the 1960s Star Trek series and is openly gay, is displeased that Sulu being portrayed as gay.

I’m delighted that there’s a gay character. Unfortunately, it’s a twisting of Gene’s creation, to which he put in so much thought. I think it’s really unfortunate.

The SJWs pushed the boundaries with the first Stark Trek series by having a gay actor, but when the straight character that the gay actor portrayed is changed to a gay character, the gay actor does not like having his original work altered to fit the demands of Social Justice.

What the SJWs push for to affect others comes back to haunt their own work.

The same is happening again.

In 1975, Tim Curry brought to life the transvestite character of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the musical comedy The Rocky Horror show. It was campy and avant-garde for the time, but it made an impact and remains a cult classic. Tim Curry’s performance of “Sweet Transvestite” was so memorable that had he done it as a straight guy in a three piece suit, it would have still been hilarious.

The movie is being remade for this Halloween and the SJWs have again proved they cannot leave well enough alone. What is already a Social Justice film is still not Social Justice enough and is being altered in a major way.

The actress playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the remake is Laverne Cox. She is a black female playing a role that was originally played by a white male. It does not matter that having a female in the main role completely alters the ebb and flow of the film’s plot and context or that a transvestite is typically a male dressing as a female or that the Dr. being a male transvestite is one of THE major plot points that drives the story. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a type of Dr. Frankenstein tale. No, what matters is that the original Dr. was played by a white male (and played brilliantly I might add) and that makes the original film racist and sexist.

In their obsession to promote Social Justice, the Social Justice Warriors are willing to alter and even destroy their own Social Justice work. Hollywood has spent decades making films that were meant to push social limits, but those works are themselves not enough. What was once their anti-racist efforts have now becomes racist. Their anti-sexism in films is now sexist. It is never enough.

And so comes the convergence, where Social Justice Warriors begin to eat their own.

[Edit: I went back and re-watched The Rocky Horror Picture and though Tim Curry was still  pretty good, the movie is still just a gay play and not worth much.]


Here Come The Narrative

This was inevitable. As the American election cycle comes out, something like this had to happen. It just had to. Hillary is in real danger of losing the race for President to Donald Trump, who may not be a friend to conservatives, but is definitely no friend of liberals.

So, here is a new film coming out this summer called Imperium. It tells the story of a young FBI agent who goes undercover into a white supremacist group who is planning to commit acts of terror. In the trailer a single scene sums up what the film makers want to say and what a young, liberal audience wants to hear.

White men who believe in God are evil! Evil I tell you!

In this single snapshot from the trailer, posted below, the entire narrative of the left is revealed. They have their enemy and know who their enemy is.

On the wall are two pictures. One of Jesus, one of Hitler. Notice that it is not a picture of Pat Robertson or even Fred Phelps (the late founder of Westboro Baptist Church) next to Hitler. It is a picture of Jesus, but not just any picture of Jesus. This is a Catholic image of what Catholics call The Sacred Heart of Jesus. The implication is that the terrorist group is not just a small splinter group that claims to be Bible believers, but this right-wing American group is the face of all of Christendom, from historical Europe to modern day America. To believe in Christ is to believe in Hitler.

And the main villain is not just a white guy. He’s buff with a shaved head and beard. He looks masculine. He looks like he works out or maybe lifts heavy things, like guns and ammo. Maybe he’s military. He goes to church and probably believes in entrepreneurial business, as opposed to Jewish-run Socialism. He is the face of Neo-masculinity.

Poor Daniel Radcliffe. He’s small, metro-sexual, lacks confidence, and will probably have an emo episode at some point, like Kylo Ren.

I need Feminism Because I …

This is the left reassuring their people that old school Americans, those who still believe in God, in men, and in good old-fashioned liberty, are the true threat to years of grand noble efforts to save the planet for world peace. The message to the progressive movement, as violence in the name of Islam tears apart their promises of perfect tranquility through diversity and equality, is don’t stop believing. Belief in God still causes terrorism. Masculinity still causes terrorism. Patriotism still causes terrorism. Heterosexual marriage causes terrorism. White male privilege causes terrorism. Church, men, private property, they are all cause terrorism and terrorism destroys the planet. They are all evil and here is the proof.

It will be interesting to see just how the story is presented when the movie comes out, but no doubt at least some of these ideas will be present.

Social Justice Warriors in Hollywood cannot help themselves. To them, this is the way they see the world.

An American Dependence Day

Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

Today, Americans will wave their flags, fire off their controlled explosions, and consume everything grilled and fried. There will be joyous celebrations with friends and family. It will be a good day for them.

Perhaps it is the pursuit of thinking outside the box, but there is also a sense of melancholy felt with all these celebrations. Grasping even a small portion of genuine American history and gaining a glimpse into the American culture in the twenty-first century sours any reason to celebrate.

When our founding fathers celebrated liberty, they understood what it meant to be under the heavy hand of absolute government and the long European history behind it. The disconnect between those men and today’s generation has become absolute, a deliberate feature of modernity. Do Americans understand anything past their own private and narcissistic sense of personal liberty? That is what most will be celebrating today.

Missing is a sense of cultural identity, grounded in European ethnicity, the lineage of posterity that the founders wrote about. Absent is the understanding that fathers and fatherhood are the beginning of families, that men and brotherhood are the beginning of domestic tranquility. Needed is the richness of historical Western Christendom, lost to oceans of commercialized pop-Jesus experience.

What flows today under the illustrious stars and stripes is a mosaic of cultural faces, having in common the pursuit of material wealth while a gavel brings them all under the wailing cry for wealth redistribution. Abstract identities derived from emotions and sexual instincts stir up an artificial sky flowing with profuse white clouds of deceptive liberty obscuring the solid ground of nature. Walking on sunshine, indeed. Trading in solid goods and dependable services with a handshake has been replaced with digitized currency purchasing digitized things to capture imaginary experiences. Instead of living a real life, life is lived vicariously through virtual reality. Wandering Aimlessly is the name on the national ID card.

Such is what is being exported worldwide in the bloody, violent name of “democracy.”

The forces of evil are ever at work to assail the heart and mind of man, to purge from them every thought of history and any consideration for the future. Here today is a prison of solitary confinement, its walls painted with illusionary images of incredible pleasure that allow a slave to believe himself free.

It has been said that what is past is lost and never to be recovered. Perhaps. The past may not exist in the present, but history does and if the doors of archives can be kept open to hungry hearts and minds, a bridge might be built between yesterday and tomorrow, carrying hope over the hopeless chasm of today.

May Christ triumph over America the Matrix and lead men back to genuine life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
